area of square will be greater than of rhombus

Question:

If a square and a rhombus stand on the same base, then the ratio of the areas of the square and the rhombus is –

Options:
A)

Equal to  14

B)

Equal to  12

C)

Equal to 1

D)

Greater than 1

Solution:
Area of square = a^2 where a is base length

Area of rhombus with same base = a * h where h is perpendicular height. This height can be changed from a to 0 so definitely area on square will be more than area of rhombus.

but if question is asking the thing saying that bases of both of them are same but not saying anything about their heights which may be same also. in that case its not stated as right.so question cant be answered by saying that this will be always lower than 1
