sir please go through the options i thing option D IS correct answer..
in option C tenses has not been changed

Question:

Directions: sentence has been given in Direct/Indirect speech. Out of the four alternatives suggested, select the one which best express the same sentence in Indirect/Direct speech. 

Ritik said to Priya, “I was searching for the keys when you were watching T.V.” 

Options:
A)

Ritik told Priya that he was searching for the keys when you were watching T.V. 

B)

Ritik told Priya that he had been searching for the keys when she was watching T.V. 

C)

Ritik told Priya that he was searching for the keys when she was watching T.V. 

D)

Ritik told Priya that he had been searching for the keys when she had been watching T.V. 

Solution:

Ans: (c) Ritik told Priya that he was searching for the keys when she was watching T.V.

simultaneous action so tense not change only sub,pronoun etc change ... .....
