Sir what is this.......

Question:
The average of all even numbers between 19 and 51 is – 
Options:
A) 31
B) 33
C) 35
D) 37
Solution:
Ans: (c) 

ATQ, 

First even number = 20

last even number = 50

So, average = \(\cfrac{20 + 50}{2}\) = 35

Check option: take 35 , numbers b/w 19 to 51 are 33 which is odd no. means average will be 17th no i.e. 35 now 35-16= 19 and 35+16 = 51 satisfied. between 19 to 51
