DIRECTIONS: Study the following pie-chart and answer the following questions. Percentage wise Distribution of faculty in six different Departments Total number of Faculties = 7200 Percentage of Faculties 



Number of faculties in Engineering department is approximately what percentage of total number of faculties in Management and Architecture departments together?
Options:
A) 21
B) 29
C) 39
D) 35
Solution:
Ans: (d) required percentage
= \(\cfrac{15}{27+16}\times100\)
\(= \cfrac{15}{43}×100=35.\)

We assume total faculty is 100. and 27% of Architecture, we take 100* 27% = 27.
