perimeter is 52 not 104

Question:
The sides of a triangle are in the ratio \(\cfrac{1}{2}:\cfrac{1}{3}:\cfrac{1}{4}\). If the perimeter of the triangle is 52 cm, the length of the smallest side is :
Options:
A)  24 cm
B) 10 cm
C) 12 cm
D) 9 cm
Solution:
Ans: (c)

x/2 + x/3 + x/4 = 52

Multiply  by 12 to get:

6x + 4x + 3x = 12*52

13x = 12*52

x = 48

Smallest side = x/4 = 48/4 = 12 cm
