In an office the number of employees reduces in the ratio of 3: 2 and the wages increases in the ratio of 20 : 27. What is the profit percentage of employees over the previous wages?
Options:
A) 10%
B) 9.09%
C) 11.11%
D) None of these
Solution:

Total wages  = no. of employees x  wage per employee

60xy = 3x x 20y

54xy = 2x x 27y

Profit (%) = \(\cfrac{60-54}{60}\)   × 100 = 10 %
