THE ANSWER SHOULD BE EAST AND NOT NORTH EAST

Question:

Ravi walks 200 feet straight from his house, which is facing north and then he walks 100 feet in reverse direction. Further he takes a left turn and walks 300 yards in which direction is Ravi now from his original position?

Options:

South-East

B)

North-East

C)

South-West

D)

North-West

Solution:

Ans: (b)

Starting from his house, Ravi walks 200 feet towards North and 100 feet in reverse direction. He then walks 300 yards (one yard = 3 feet and hence 300 years = 900 feet

∴ Now, he is North-East direction
