in question, it is said a works 60% of its capacity which mean suppose A's capacity is 100 it works with capacity of 60, and B works 40% of A's capacity ie 40 .
(60+40)*12=(40)*t
t=30 (no answer)

Question:

A and B together can do a work in 12 days, when A do work with 60% its capacity and B do with 40% of A’s capacity. In how many days B will do the work alone ?

21 days

B)

24 days

C)

36 days

D)

42 days
