I felt puzzled at its sight as never I had seen such a thing.  

Options:
A) No error
B) I felt puzzled
C) I had seen such a thing
D) At its sight as never
Solution:
Ans: (c) Change 'I had seen' into 'had I seen'. When 'never' comes at the beginning of a clause, there must be inversion.
