Question:
9 men finish one-third work in 10 days. The number of additional men required for finishing the remaining work in 2 more days will be 
Options:
A) 78
B) 81
C) 55
D) 90
Solution:
Ans: (b)
9 men finish the 1/3rd work in 10 days.
9 men finish remaining work in 20 days.(i.e. 2/3 of work).
9 men finish total work in 30 days.
therefore to complete the remaining work in 2 more days,
Let the total number of men to complete the  work be x,
x/9=20,
\(\Rightarrow\)x=20*9
\(\Rightarrow\)x=180,
number of men required=180/2=90 men
Hence additional number of men required=90-9=81

Its correct, you must solve it carefully.

One more sol:

9 men finish 1/3 work in 10 days, so 9 men finish all the work in 10 * 3 = 30 days
9 men finish all work in 30 days, so 1 man finish all work in 30 * 9 = 270 days
This implies 1 man will finish 2/3 work in (2/3) * 270 = 180 days
180 / 2 = 90 men will complete 2/3 work in 2 days

Since 90 men can complete the remaining 2/3 work, and there are already 9 men here, the required additional men will be = 90 - 9 = 81
