10 days hai ya 20 days

Question:
9 men finish one-third work in 10 days. The number of additional men required for finishing the remaining work in 2 more days will be 
Options:
A) 78
B) 81
C) 55
D) 90
Solution:
Ans: (b)
9 men finish the 1/3rd work in 10 days.
9 men finish remaining work in 20 days.(i.e. 2/3 of work).
9 men finish total work in 30 days.
therefore to complete the remaining work in 2 more days,
Let the total number of men to complete the  work be x,
x/9=20,
\(\Rightarrow\)x=20*9
\(\Rightarrow\)x=180,
number of men required=180/2=90 men
Hence additional number of men required=90-9=81

check my way to solve:

1st case:
No. of men's engaged for work:9
No. of hours:10hrs
work done:1/3

2nd case:
No. of men require for work:(9+x)
Additional Days :2
work to be done: 2/3

Acc. to formula:

(M1*D1)/W1=(M2*D2)/W2

(9*10)/(1/3)=((9+X)*2*3)/2

Upon solving ,u ll get x=81 workers
