Wrong question hindi version. (Question:574670.0)

IN Hindi version question is that how many cyllinders can be made but in english version is asked how many cone s can be made ?

Question:
What is the number of cones of semi-vertex angle a and having r as the radius of the mid-section which can be moduled out of a cylinder of base radius r and height 2r cot α:
Options:
A) 5
B) 7
C) 6
D) 4
Solution:

cot α = \(\cfrac{h}{r}\) ⇒ h = r cot α.

let no. of cones = n

 

∴ n(\(\cfrac{1}{3}\) πr2 × r cot α) = πr2 (2r cot α)

⇒ n = 6
