Solution:
Ans: (d) For Scheduled Castes, 84 seats are reserved in Lok Sabha. The 1st schedule to Representation of People Act, 1950 as amended vide Representation of People (Amendment) Act , 2008 gives the State-wise breakup.

The 15th Lok Sabha will have 11 more reserved seats for the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. The number of total seats, however, will remain 543. The number of constituencies reserved for Scheduled Castes has increased from 79 to 84 after the delimitation of the constituencies. Likewise, the number of seats reserved for Scheduled Tribes has increased from 41 to 47.
