Ans: (a) Replace 'from' with 'of'.

To die from car/road accidents, from illness, from stroke, from a wound, from smoking, from drinking, from sudden death, from a weapon, from injury, from war, from religion...

To die by (through the means of) the sword, by suicide, by overdose, by a bullet.

please ignore knowledge expert he has gone mad, or perhaps does not know english grammar. remember if someone dies, he dies of a reason or dies from a disease.

SO THE CORRECTED STATEMENT WILL BE
