A square can be a rectangle but a rectangle cannot be a square, I think you know this knowledge expert.

Question:

What is the maximum area of a rectangle, the perimeter of which is 20 cm?

A)

25 cm2

B)

20.25 cm2

Considering your statement which you have mentioned knowledge expert you yourself has written that a square is a rectangle but a rectangle cannot be a square and you have asked us a rectangle WHICH ACCORDING TO YOUR STATEMENT CANNOT BE A SQUARE. I think you got my point now. 5.1*4.9 could have been a better answer which in itself is an approximation so you will never get 25 until you follow limit of this side tending to 5.

A square is a special kind of rectangle, it is one where all the sides have the same length. Thus every square is a rectangle because it is a quadrilateral with all four angles right angles. However not every rectangle is a square, to be a square its sides must have the same length.
And, It's in my hand to maximize the area of the reactangle
Thus, again in my hands to equalize all it sides to make it a square after all square is in itself is a special kind of rectangle with all the sides equal.
