if ( bc is 18 ) then ab = 18^2 - 9^2 = root 243 . now using 1/2 *base * height does not give 40 to be the area .

Question:
Suppose \(\Delta\)ABC be a right-angled triangle where \(\angle \)A = 90o and AD \(\perp \) BC. If \(\triangle\)ABC = 40 cm², \(\triangle\)ACD = 10 cm² and \(\overline{AC}\) = 9 cm, then the length of BC is:  
Options:
A) 12 cm 
B) 18 cm
C) 4 cm
D) 6 cm
