WHY ARE YOU GIVING WRONG ANSWERS

In a certain shop, 9 oranges cost as much as 5 apples, 5 apples cost as much as 3 mangoes, 4 mangoes cost as much as 9 lemons. If 3 lemons cost 48 paise, the price of an orange is
Options:
A) 15 paise
B) 13 paise 
C) 14 paise 
D) 12 paise
Solution:

According to the question

3 lemons = 48 paise (Given)

9 lemons cost

= \(\frac{48 \times 9 }{3}\) = 144 paise = cost of 4 mangoes

= cost of 3 mangoes = (\(\frac{144}{4} \times 3\)) = 108 paise

= cost of 5 apples

or cost of 9 oranges = 108 paise

= cost of one orange = \(\frac{108}{9}\) = 12 paise
