it should be B is 4/5 times of A

Question:

A is  5/4   times as good a workman as B and they together finish a piece of work in 24 days. The number of days taken by B alone.

Solution:

Ans: (c)

If B’s capacity = 4

A’s capacity = 5

then, total work = 9 × 24 ⇒ 216

then, B takes = 216/4 ⇒ 54  days

yes here A's capacity should be 4 and that of B's is 5.
