DIRECTIONS: The question given below contain two statements giving certain data. You have to decide whether the data given in the statements are sufficient for answering the question? Mark answer-

What is the value of the positive integer X?


(I) When 23 and 25 are divided by X, the remainders are 3 and 1 respectively.


(II) When 24 is divided by X, the remainder is zero. 

Options:
A) If statement I alone is sufficient but statement II alone is not sufficient.
B) If statement II alone is sufficient but statement I alone is not sufficient.
C) If each statement alone (either I or II) is sufficient.
D) If statement I and II together are not sufficient.

correct answer would be X= r1+r2-r3=3+1-0=4
