wrong option (Question: 122943.0 )

it is written ab = bc, that's i had not marked it

Question:

The equations ax + b = 0 and cx + d = 0 are consistent, if:

Options:
A)

ad = bc

B) ad + bc = 0
C) ab – cd = 0
D) ab + cd = 0
Solution:
The equations are consistent if

\(\cfrac{a}{c} = \cfrac{b}{d}\)

i.e, ad = bc
