wrong method used (Question: 285191.0 )

actually answer is 12:7:7. test it by using (price*first ratio + second price * second ration +....)/26

Question:

In what ratio must a person mix three kinds of wheat costing him Rs.1.20, Rs.1.44 and Rs.1.74 per kg so that the mixture may be worth of Rs.1.41 per kg?

your ans is correct but there are several methods to solve this type of questions. so we have to opt the method according to the given options.

You are right your answer is correct. I saw a few methods online of working this out but couldn't understand why we have to to add the same ratios to get 12 ? I you can help
