if interset is calculated quaterly then time has to multiple of 4 and rate has to be divided by 4...here latter is done but not former
so answer should be 8 months

Question:
A sum of 3200 invested at 10% per annum compounded quarterly amounts to 3362. Compute the time period.

B) 4 months 
C) 6 months 
D) 9 months

quarterly means sum will be compounded after every 3 months (12/4), thats why 2 will be multiplied by 3 not by 2
