wrong calculation (Question: 259936.0 )

Area of triangle= half of absin(angle)
which means ab=30 not 15

Question:

ABCD is a parallelogram with ∠ABC = 60º. If the longer diagonal is of length 7 cm and the area of the parallelogram is  1532    cm2, then the perimeter of the parallelogram (in cm) is :

Options:
A)

14 cm

B)

15 cm

C)

16 cm

D)

18 cm

Dear Student,

In The parallelogram shape if we takes triangle it is half of the parallelogram thus area should be half now comparing (15 root3/2 )/2 = 1/2 sin 60 * ab
15/2= 1/2 ab
ab = 15
