For oilseeds it is 19.50 not 18.70 ... Hence anser comes out to be 401.53

The production of rice in 1994-95 is approximately what percent of the production of oil seeds in the year 1996-97?

B) 380%
C) 400%
D) 420%
Solution:
Ans: (d) Production of rice in 1994-95 = 78.3

Production of oilseeds in 1996-97 = 18.7

Percentage \(=\cfrac{78.3}{18.7}\times100=418.71\Rightarrow420\%\) (approx)
