don't waste our time to give us such a wrong stupid questions, try to make question such as ssc cgl pattern

Question:
A carriage driving in a fog passed a man who was walking at the rate of 3 km, an hour in the same direction. He could see the carriage for 4 minutes and it was visible to him up to a distance of 100 m. What was the speed of the carriage?
Options:
A) 4\(\cfrac{1}{2}\)  kmph
B) 6\(\cfrac{1}{2}\)  kmph
C) 4\(\cfrac{2}{3}\)  kmph
D) 6\(\cfrac{1}{3}\)  kmph
Solution:

The distance travelled by the man

In 4 minutes = S × T

3 × \(\cfrac{5}{18}\) × 4 × 60 = 200 m.

(3 is multiplied by \(\cfrac{5}{18}\) to change it into m./sec. and 4 multiplied by 60 to change it into seconds)

∴ distance travelled by the carriage in 4 minutes = (200 + 100) = 300 metres.

∴ Speed of carriage = D/T=300/4.

\(\cfrac{\cfrac{300}{1000}}{\cfrac{4}{60}}\)

\(4\cfrac{1}{2}\) kmph
