There should be a gap between each trin trin.. we have to count that time period --- in 5 trin - there are 4 periods and in 10 there will be 9 so answer should be 18...
1-d-2-d-3-d-4-d-5 = 4d
1-d-2-d------10 = 9d

Question:

A clock strikes once at 1 o'clock twice at 2 o'clock and thrice at 3 o'clock, and so on. If it takes 8 seconds to strike at 5 o'clock, the time take by it to strike at 10 o'clock is
