Putting θ = 45⁰ in the given equation, we get

$\frac{1}{1 + c o t^{2} 4 5^{0}} + \frac{1}{1 + t a n^{2} 4 5^{0}} + 2 s i n^{2} 4 5^{0}$

$= \frac{1}{1 + 1} + \frac{1}{1 + 1} + 2 {(\frac{1}{\sqrt{2}})}^{2}$

$= \frac{1}{2} + \frac{1}{2} + 1 = 2$
