 In a rectangle of dimensions 25m X 15m, a cut is made on each of the corners in the shape of an isosceles triangle of side 4 m. Find the perimeter of the figure such obtained.


Options:
A)

 76.4 m

B)

 69.6 m

C)

 67.2 m

D)

70.62 m

Solution:

Total perimeter = 2(25-8)+2(15-8)+4P

=48+4P

P=\(\sqrt{4^2+4^2}=4\sqrt{2}=5.66\)  

Total Perimeter = 48+4*5.66=70.62m
