1 unit is filled in 2 hrs.
9 unit is filled in 18 hrs.
remaining 3 unit will be filled in next hr by P (P`s efficiency 3 unit per hour)
so answer should be 19 hrs.

Question:

Pipe P can fill tank in 4 hrs and pipe Q can empty it in 6 hrs. If they are opened on alternate hours and pipe P is opened first then in how many hours, the tank shall be fill?
