subordinate clause changes according to the principal clause. and in the given sentence principle clause has 'would', thus if clause will be changed and 'are' will change to 'were'

Solution:

Ans: (b) Change ‘would’ into ‘will’. After a present tense in the ‘If’ clause, we need a future tense in the main clause. Hence ‘would’ should be changed to will.
