Question:
The difference of two numbers is 2395. On dividing the larger number by the smaller, we get 7 as quotient and 25 as remainder. The larger number is

The given answer is correct, please check below solution.

x-y=2395(given)----1)
x=7y+25(given)----2)
Now in 2) put value of x from 1)

2395+y=7y+25
6y=2370
y=395

we want larger no i.e x

x =2395+y
x=2395+395
x=2370
