Dear student,

There are only 56 triangles in given geometrical figure.

Short Tricks:
Mark 1,2,3,...... in each box above horizontal line and do the same below horizontal line and add it.
Above horizontal line;
1+2+3+4+5+6+7 = 28
Below horizontal line;
1+2+3+4+5+6+7 = 28
Total number of triangles = 28+28 = 56
