general equation of a circle is:
x^2 + y^2 +2gx + 2fy + c = 0 (center of the circle -> (-g,-f) )
and it is given that the circle passes through (0,0) and (1,0)
By solving we get g= -1/2
==> hence, the x coordinate of the circle would be 1/2 which only option 'b' satifies.

Question:

The centre of the circle passing through the points (0, 0), (1, 0) and touching the circle x2 + y2 = 9 is:

Options:
A) \(\left ( \cfrac {3}{2},\cfrac{1}{2} \right )\)
B) \(\left ( \cfrac {1}{2},\cfrac{1}{2} \right )\)
C) \(\left ( -\cfrac {1}{\sqrt[]{2}},\cfrac{1}{2} \right )\)
