The solution is right but the answer is wrong

Question:
Out of three numbers, sum of half of the first number, one-fourth of the second number and two-third of the third number is 40. The sum of one-fourth of the first number, 1/6 of the second number and one- third of the third number is 25. What is the second number?
Options:
A) 20
B) 120
C) 240
D) can’t be determined
Solution:

Answer: (d)
\(\cfrac{x}{2}\) + \(\cfrac{y}{4}\) + \(\cfrac{2z}{3}\) = 40 …(i)

\(\cfrac{x}{4}\) + \(\cfrac{y}{6}\) + \(\cfrac{z}{3}\) = 25 …(ii)

from equ. (i) & (ii)

Since there are three variables and only two equation, so we can not solve the equation. So Answer can’t be determined.
