correct ans is B = 40days
ratio of A, B, and c
28, 20, 25
3= 6
then 1=2
20=40 ans

Question:
A is 40% more efficent than B and B is 20% less efficent than C. If A takes 6 days less than C to complete a work, then in how many days will B complete this work ?
Options:
A) 35
B) 70
C) 105
D) 40
Solution:
Ans: (b) Let time taken by B to complete the work = 7x

Then, time taken by C to complete the work = 5.6x

Then, time taken by A to complete work = 5x

ATQ,

5.6x – 5x = 6

0.6x = 6

x = 10

So, time taken by B = 7x

= 70 days

Dear Student,

If the ratio of efficiency of A:B:C = 28:20:25 then time taken by A:C= 25:28
difference =3 = 6 days 1=2 days so time taken by C = 56 days,
Now efficiency ratio of B:C=20:25 so time taken ratio= 25:20= 5:4
Now 4=56 days, so 5= 70 days
