Dear sir/mam, That man save rs 50 in 2days. He saves rs 50 in next two days and so on. On day 17 he will earn 600 rs.

Question:

A man earns Rs 200 on the first day and spends Rs 150 on the next day. He again earns Rs 200 on the third day and spends Rs 150 on the fourth day. If he continues to save  like thus, how soon will he have Rs 600 in hand?

Options:
A) 10 days
B) 12 days
C) 18 days
D) 17 days
Solution:
Ans: (d)

In two days, total savings = Rs 50

Till 16th day, he will earn = 8 × 50 = Rs 400

Now, on the 17th day, he will earn = 400 + 200 = Rs 600
