as radius is 4 cm hence, OB=22cm, AB=12(given)
if we join O to A, OA=4cm radius, now triangle OAB is a right angled at A(joining centre to point of tanget), so
22sqr=12sqr+4sqr
which is not possible

Question:

In the given figure, triangle ABC is drawn such that AB is tangent to a circle at A whose radius is 4 cm and BC passes through centre of the circle. Point C lies on the circle. If BC = 26 cm and AB = 12 cm, then what is the area of triangle ABC (in cm2)?
