CD^2= AD*BD

Question:

ABC is an isoceles right angle triangle with = 90º. If D is any point on AB such that CD =  25    cm and BD = 6cm. Find the value of AD –  

Options:
A)

313    cm.

B)

2 cm.

C)

4 cm.

D)

@anni take 6, 8 , 10 as sides of triangle and c is right angle as above , since above formula is applicable for any point on hypotenuse so if we take CD as perpendicular on AB . we get CD =4.8 and AD =3.6 and DB=6.4 . now if we apply above formula resulting values are not equal
