Why not OPTION D (Question: 257469.3 )

As the verb go is intransitive verb it cannot be changed into passive voice

Question:

Directions: A sentence has been given in Active/Passive Voice. Out of the four alternatives suggested, select the one which best expresses the same sentence in Passive/Active Voice.

Options:
A)

Where had you been gone all this time? 

B)

Where had you left all this time? 

C)

Where had been gone by you all this time? 

D)

Where had you gone to all this time? 

Solution:

Ans: (a) Where had you been gone all this time?
