why not option C (Question: 257471.8 )

atleast option C doesnt represent crying and requested as different actions, as in the direct speech sentence...

Question:

Directions: A sentence has been given in Direct/Indirect speech. Out of the four alternatives suggested, select the one which best express the same sentence in Indirect/Direct speech.
