why is not opt 3 (Question:508443.0)

past in direct speech changes past perfect in indirect speech so why we will not choose opt 3

DIRECTION: In the following question, a sentence has been given in Direct/Indirect speech. Out of the four alternatives suggested, select the one which best expresses the same sentence in Indirect/Direct speech.


She said that she hadn’t done anything wrong that time.

Options:
A)

She said, “I haven’t done anything wrong this time.”

B)

She said, “I hadn’t done anything wrong this time.”

C)

She said, “I didn’t do anything wrong this time.”  

D)
