what do we do when the difference is not same then in that case

Question:
A number when divided by 4, 5 and 6 leaves remainders 2, 3 and 4 respectively. The least such number is –
Options:
A) 50
B) 53
C) 58
D) 62
Solution:

Difference = 4 – 2 = 5 – 3 = 6 – 4 = 2

So, required number  = L.C.M. of 4, 5 and 6 – 2

= 60 – 2 = 58
