My answer is 34650 ?? anyone

Question:

A shopkeeper bought 10 LCD sets for Rs.20000 per LCD and also paid a tax at the rate of 10% and spent 5% for the transportation. He wants to mark the price of each LCD in such a way that after allowing a discount of 16 23   % he may earn 25% profit. Find the marked price of each LCD?

Options:
A)

Rs.34500

B)

Rs.30450

C)

Rs.34050

D)

Rs.34005

They calculated the tax(10%) and transportation charges(5%) on Rs20000. The right approach is to calculate tax first= 20000+2000=22000 then 5% transport i.e, 22000+1100=23100 which is CP for shopkeeper. Now apply CP:MRP formula. Correct Ans 34650

they took tx rate 5% onlyl by which there is variation in answer
