The digit at unit’s place of a 2-digit number. unit place digit of the number is increased by 100% and the ten’s digit of the same number is increased by 50%.  The new number thus formed is 19 more than the original number. What is the original number.

let the 2 digit no be 10x+y where x be the digit at tens place and y be the digit at ones place.

according to the question;

(10x+50% of 10x)+(y+100% of y)-(10x+y)=19

10x+5x+y+y-10x-y=19

5x+y=19
