what kind of a solution is this; (Question: 246564.0 )

if that is the case then if we take x=1, y=3/2 and z=5/2 then the answer would be 10 or for different value of x we will get different answers.

Question:

If x(x + y + z) = 20, y(x + y + z) = 30 and z(x + y + z) = 50, then the value of 2(x + y + z) is –

Options:
A) 20
B) 10
C) 15
D) 18

Add all the equation. We will get (x+y+z)^2 = 100 so
X+y+z =10. 2 (x+y+z) = 20.
