Totally confusing. No solution is given.

Question:

DIRECTIONS: In the question below is given a statement followed by three assumptions numbered I,II and III. An Assumption is something supposed or taken for granted. You have to consider statement and the following assumption and decide which of the assumptions is implicit in the statement.

Statement:  A Soldier wrote a second letter to his mother after a month as he did not receive any reply to the first letter.

 

Assumptions:

I.  Soldier’s mother did not receive the letter.

II. The letter generally reaches within a fortnight.

III. His mother promptly sends reply to his letters.
