please explain , as its an imo and critical doubt,..

Question:

After going to the zoo, the mall, and the movies, Raina was sick of bending over backwards to entertain her nieces.

Solution:
Ex: When someone is "bending over backwards," they are trying very hard to please another person.

*bend over backwards means to try very hard to do something.
Example-
I've been bending over backwards trying to help you, and this is all the thanks I get!

*sick of something means to have experienced too much of something with the result that you are annoyed.
Example-
I’m sick of him whining about money.
