please explain how you put 4 multiply of 21

Question:

Two cars left point A and B simultaneously, travelling towards each other. 9 hour after meeting the car travelling from A arrived at B, and 16 hours their meeting, the car travelling from B arrived at A. How many hours did it take the slower car to cover the whole distance?

21 hours

B)

25 hours

C)

28 hours

36 hours

first get v1/v2
4/3
then think about he scenario when both are meeting.
let A by velocity 4x travelled distance 4Y.and B traveled 3Y.
NOW AS GIVEN ,SLOWER BUS,WHICH IS B; TOOK 16 hours in travelling 4y distance. so to travell 3x distance(which is before meeting) it takes 12 hrs(easily understood here) so total time+beore meeting +aft. meet=12+16=28
is easy,when we eliminate the written language of my explanation.
