TV is taken twice.. TV = VT (Question: 201917.0 )

If TV is written as VT for the sake of reverse order, then reverse of rest three pairs should also be considered. Why are they being left out??

Question:
How many pairs of letters are there in the word 'MOTIVATION' which have as many letters between them in the word as they have between them in the English alphabet ?

Need to see number of pairs of words have as many letter as in English alphabet:
