triangles on same base n between same parallel lines (Question: 257190.0 )

triangle abd and triangle abc must have equal areas ...as ad =bc ...ab =ba ...so remaining sides must also be equal ... just a query why aint ac and bd equal

Question:

The adjacent sides of a parallelogram are given as length 11 metre and breadth 13 metre. If a diagonal is a length of 16 metre, then the length of second diagonal is –

Just know I have confirmed it..diagonals in parallelogram bisect each other but they need not to be equal in length
